In the latest episode of the Official BHAFC Podcast we’ll dive into Albion's pre-season tour of Japan, as the squad embarks on a journey to the Land of the Rising Sun.
Co-hosts Glenn Murray and Paul Hayward talk to Arashi Hagaki from The Tokyo Seagulls, and with his help they explore some of the tour details, from the fixtures to the cultural experiences awaiting the team in Tokyo.
It's not just a chance for the players to prepare for the upcoming season but also an opportunity to connect with our global fanbase and experience the rich culture of Japan.
Brighton’s first match takes place on 24 July against Kashima Antlers, who have won the domestic title on eight occasions. Four days later, on 28 July, the team plays Tokyo Verdy, who won promotion back to the J.1 League last season.
Both games will be played in the 68,000-capacity National Stadium in Tokyo, which was built for the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
