Albion pair Jack Hinshelwood and Joshua Duffus have been named in England men’s under-19s squad for three games against Romania, Japan and Mexico at the Marbella Football Centre in Spain later this month.
Head coach Simon Rusk has named a 24-strong squad for the trip, which starts with Romania on Wednesday 15 November (5pm GMT), before they tackle Japan on Saturday 18 November (1pm GMT) and then round off against Mexico on Tuesday 21 November (5pm GMT).
Last month saw the Young Lions in UEFA U19 EURO qualifying action when they drew all three games against group hosts Montenegro, Wales and Austria. That leaves England waiting on the results from the remaining qualifying groups which will take place in November, before the teams who head into next year’s elite qualifying round are confirmed.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper James Beadle, who is currently on loan with League One Oxford United, is included in England men’s Elite League squad for November’s games with Italy and Germany.
New interim head coach Ben Futcher has selected a 23-player squad for the games, having taken over from Joe Edwards who left his role to become the new manager of Millwall. Futcher was previously assistant coach to Edwards for the first two camps of the season in September and October.
The Young Lions squad will meet up to begin their preparations next week before their first game against Italy at Doncaster Rovers FC on Thursday 16 November (7pm GMT).
They will then head to play Germany at the Jahnstadion Regensburg on Monday 20 November (5pm GMT) for their second game of the month.
Last month saw the newly-titled Elite League squad (formerly Men’s U20s) suffer narrow defeats to both Romania and Portugal in their opening two games of the 2023-24 campaign.
