Libby Bance ended a successful loan spell with Glasgow Rangers by helping them to their second trophy of the season.
The Albion midfielder came on in the second half as Rangers added to their Sky Sports League Cup triumph earlier in the season by beating Hearts 2-0 at Hampden Park to lift the Scottish Cup.
Rangers had to settle for runners-up spot behind Celtic in the league but Bance says she has learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed her time in Scotland.
“It has been a massive learning curve on and especially off the pitch,” said Bance. “Moving away from home has been such a big experience but the players here is amazing and I feel so fortunate to have been part of such a brilliant team.”
Rangers were only denied a domestic treble when Celtic scored a late goal in their final match against Hibs to lift the title for the first time on goal difference.
“It wasn’t our day but I think we deserved to win the treble,” said Bance. “But I have had a brilliant time and to come away with two cup winners’ medals is fantastic.”
