Our men’s Under-21s will kick off their Premier League 2 campaign with a home game against Leeds United.
It will take place at the American Express Elite Performance Centre on Friday, 11 August, kick off 7pm.
Shannon Ruth takes his side to Chelsea a week later and they also travel to Everton on 25 August before the month concludes against Nottingham Forest at home on 30 August.
A new format in Premier League 2 this season means there will be only one division made up of clubs with Category One Academies. Those 26 teams have been divided into five pots based on performances over the past three seasons. Each team play 20 regular-season matches. Teams will play each club in their own seeding pot once, as well as three to five teams in all other pots either home or away.
This will generate a table ranking the 26 teams. After the regular season the top 16 teams will qualify for a single elimination play-off based on league position, so first will play 16th etc. with the higher placed team at home. The top 12 will also be invited to play in the 2024/25 Premier League International Cup.
